Great photo! Lovely colors! I don't know if the nailpolish is good or bad, but I like it there. I also like your idea a lot. It's a shame you are scared of getting flamed! Please post all your nice photos here. Not being active means you are out there learning and taking a lot of great photos to show us! I don't get why someone would blame you for that?

The main problem I have with this image is it has totally changed my perception of Magritte's Son Of Man .. I shall never be able to think of it in the same way again An unusually 'clean' image for you - i can see that this would adapt very neatly to your use of textures and your 'grundged' treatment would work well, (the green background is a particularly enticing tone), so i guess this was an intentional departure... still I'd be curious to see it if you ever did decide to do a rework. I like the underlying touch of humour - it places the image within an interesting percpective without turning it into a simple 'joke'. Nice work.

Beautiful all around. Somehow, it seems to evoke both lightness and weight at the same time. I agree with Traff that you've struck a perfect balance on the humor-serious business (serious art?) scale. The sense of enticement created by the fruits' lusciousness, their placement, and the selective focus is wonderful. Love that fleck of red, too. Much as I enjoy your darker images, this has an appeal (ogodunintentionalpun) all its own.
